Nolan accredited buyer’s rep
Bethany Nolan of Murray Real Estate Services LLC in Longview recently achieved the Accredited Buyer’s Representation designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.
In so doing, Nolan joined more than 30,000 real estate professionals in North America who earned the designation. They completed a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, in addition to submitting documentation verifying their experience.
SFA’s Perkins College honors professors
NACOGDOCHES — Stephen F. Austin State University’s James I. Perkins College of Education recently recognized several faculty members as the college’s Teaching Excellence Award honorees.
The Teaching Excellence Awards recognize outstanding full-time faculty members who demonstrate extensive knowledge of subject matter, quality lectures and assignments, enthusiasm for teaching, and interest in and availability to students. Commitment to continuous improvement and contribution to the quality of teaching at SFA by assisting and encouraging other faculty members also are considered.
Honorees are Dr. Mark Montgomery, assistant professor in the Department of Elementary Education; Heather Samuelson, dance program co-coordinator and assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Science; Dr. Karen Embry Jenlink, professor in the Department of Secondary Education and Educational Leadership; Dr. Luis Aguerrevere, associate professor in the Department of Human Services; and Leisha Bridwell, merchandising and interior design program coordinator and associate professor in the School of Human Sciences. Among the honorees, Montgomery was selected to represent the Perkins College of Education at the university’s Teaching Excellence Convocation, which will be in April.
The college also recognized Dr. Robyn Whitehead, visiting assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Science, as the Faculty Senate Teaching Excellence honoree for nontenure-track faculty members.
Ray joins Telco as loan officer
Kayla Ray recently joined Telco Plus as a loan officer in the Longview branch.
She previously worked as an office manager/loan officer for Austin Finance and Loans of Texas, and brings more than 12 years of experience in finance and credit repair.
A Longview native, Ray is married and has three children.
