The Clarksville Association of Realtors Diversity Committee is hosting a free housing fair Saturday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
Travis Recer, owner of Recer Home Group, said the area is experiencing “the most extreme seller’s market that I’ve been a part of in the 18 years I’ve sold real estate, by far.”
Over the next two decades, the University of Tennessee projects that Clarksville-Montgomery County will add about 90,000 residents. As of July 2020, the county was approaching 220,000 residents, including almost 180,000 living in the Clarksville city limits.
The event will feature three panels of speakers to include realtors, property managers and lenders who will discuss how to buy and rent a house and repair credit.
Other speakers include Selena Lawrence on credit repair and Toumie Parrot, who will discuss Tennessee Housing Development Agency programs and Section 8 Housing.
