An identity thief uses personal information, such as a Social Security number, to open credit accounts or apply for loans — all in someone else’s credit identity. Millions of people are victimized each year. Human Resources has partnered with the experts from Credit Counseling of Arkansas (CCOA) to offer a workshop discussing steps you can take to keep your identity safe. Topics will include problems that occur with identity theft, what to do if it happens, and how to protect yourself in the future.
Please join Human Resources and CCOA at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, in the Arkansas Union 504 for the Preventing Identity Theft Workshop.
