Haverford Crime Blotter: Vehicle Theft, Fraud, Vandalism, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township released their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Aug. 25 and Aug. 31.

The blotter also includes citations issued in that time period.

  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Aug. 25 at 2:23 p.m. – Loss prevention officer reported that an unknown male stole $315.88 worth of merchandise.
  • Identity Theft at the 800 block of Beechwood Drive on Aug. 26 at 7:31 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits and attempted to open an Xfinity account.
  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Aug. 27 at 4:50 p.m. – An unknown person stole approximately $4,000 worth of merchandise.
  • Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Aug. 27 at 6:54 p.m. – Juvenile victim reported that his backpack was stolen from the vestibule.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft at the 400 block of Langhorne Avenue on Aug. 28 at 6:44 p.m.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Claremont Boulevard on Aug. 28 at 9:44 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Bicycle Theft at the 2400 block of Darby Road on Aug. 29 at 7:45 a.m.
  • Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Aug. 29 at 9:51 p.m. – Victim reported that her cell phone was stolen.
  • Identity Theft at the 300 block of Crescent Hill Drive on Aug. 30 at 8:50 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of Warrior Road on Aug. 30 at 2:11 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits and open a bank account. An unauthorized purchase was also made on her Amazon account.
  • Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Greenway Road on Aug. 30 at 3:24 p.m. – Victim reported that someone filed for unemployment benefits using his identity.
  • Disorderly Conduct on the Bus Route, 2700 block of St. Mary’s Road, on Aug. 30 at 8:43 a.m. – 64-year-old male, 1900 block of Darby Road was cited for disorderly conduct.
  • Theft at the 2400 block of Merwood Lane on Aug. 31 at 12:31 p.m. – Victim reported that his credit cards and $52 was stolen from his wallet. Multiple unauthorized purchases were made with his credit card.
  • Fraud at the 800 block of Aubrey Avenue on Aug. 31 at 10 p.m. – Victim reported her credit card and drivers license missing from her wallet. $8,480 worth of unauthorized purchases were made with the credit card.
  • Vandalism at the 100 block of Washington Avenue on Aug. 31 at 6:41 a.m. – Vehicle was egged.
